NEW DISCOUNTS from our amazing partners this year

Over the past 12 months, our friends at Faster have helped us immensely with our cross training through their excellent EFX classes. Now they are taking it to the next level with 2 great discounts for us.
Option 1
The Complete Package - They are offering all registered participants 50% off on a 4 month all inclusive cross training program that includes 16 personal training sessions over 4 months, 1 massage a month and unlimited EFX classes for the entire 4 months. Normally $1200 but will be discounted to $600.
Option 2
20 class card - They are offering all registered participants 50% off their drop in EFX class rate. Drop in is $20/class and they are offering us $10/class on a 20 class punch card.
Please Note: Both offers are good at either their Robinson or South Pointe locations.

Every runner will have the opportunity for a discount membership (and no initiation fee) to the Western Area YMCA for the duration of the training program. $28/month will allow full access to the facility during the winter for all classes and equipment. When the weather gets nasty, this could be just the ticket to keep your training on track. This discount is a savings of $111 over 4 months. Membership also allows for access to any YMCA in Pennsylvania.

Our friends at Downey's House in Robinson are offering all registered participants 15% off all food and non-alcoholic beverages for the duration of the training program.
More partners are being added regularly so be sure to check back for new offers.

PROGRAM FEE
  • EARLY BIRD: $75 (until December 31st)
  • REGULAR REGISTRATION: $85 (Begins January 1st)

Head Coach - Bobbi Jo Wendel

Bobbi Jo began running in November 2013. She had a goal to run a half marathon (with no prior history of running).  She was starting to train on her own, but found it to be difficult using the Couch to 10k program she found online. She started to come to  group runs with Elite Runners & Walkers that December to help her train and hasn't stopped running since.  Beginning in the fall of 2014 she joined the Elite Runners staff and began Coaching the Begin to Win training program.  In the summer of 2015 Bobbi Jo became an RRCA Certified Running Coach.

Her story and constant motivation are an inspiration to everyone she trains and she will be there for you every step of the way. She will be there to answer questions, give feedback and be your cheerleader the whole way.  To date, Bobbi Jo has run a marathon, 19 half marathons and numerous 5k, 10k's and many Obstacle Course Trail Races.

Assistant Coach - Rebecca Henke

Becca started running October 2012 using a Couch to 5K app and completed her first 5K that December.  She decided to run her first half marathon,  the Pittsburgh Half in 2013. After completing Pittsburgh 2013, she was looking for more support and joined Elite Runners training group to prepare for 2014 Pittsburgh Half Marathon.  She has overcome various injuries and realized the importance of training healthy and will guide others to do the same through their journey.

Becca completed her first marathon and sprint triathlon in 2015. Her next adventure is to push her limits by competing in an open water swim sprint triathlon this August.

Runs are never dull - you will have your own Karaoke party - Becca takes requests!
